Hannah's wasps

We saw a gargantuan wasp nest that Hannah had in her playhouse wall. There were baby wasps which looked like slimy, slithery worms.

We're back

The holidays are over and its time to go back to school. It is nice and warm in Mahana with the sun shining everyday! But all the kids are stuck inside learning! Unless of course your outside swimming in the pool with your friends. But its not that bad if you have the best teacher in the world (AKA Mrs Scorrar) .

Yesterday (first day back) we made name tags for our tote trays,went swimming and some writing . This year some of the juniors came up and we have a new kid in our class Tavania . In writing we are learning to present our work neatly. We're reading Fantastic Mr Fox and writing about it . For the year 4's its our last year in the fabulous middle room (boo)

The first few days back have been very gripping and i'm sure we will all learn lots (even if the process is boring) so yeah promise we will keep up dating ! Eliz
